The security and privacy of your personal data are important to Vitropor, so we carry out our commercial activities in strict compliance with the applicable legislation on personal data protection.
We are committed to explaining, whenever necessary, how Vitropor will use your data to ensure that you find the house, office or shop you are looking for on our platform. It is also our commitment that all information collected will be stored safely, both by Vitropor and by the other partner entities with whom we work.

1- Who is responsible for your data?
Our Privacy Policy applies exclusively to the personal data that Vitropor collects from the vitropor.pt website. References in this Privacy Policy to “we”, “us” or “our” mean Vitropor.
For the purposes of data protection law, we are the “Controller” for the personal information provided through this website.

Whenever “personal data” is referred to in this Privacy Policy, it must be assumed that it refers to information that relates to our users and that allows us to unequivocally identify them, either directly or in combination with other information that Vitropor may hold.
our personal data may include, for example, your name, contact details, information about your expectations with regard to a particular product you have contacted, or information about how you use our website, or how you interact with us. Vitropor collects personal data from users, for example, when they contact us using the forms provided on the platform, explore our website (even if they only search for Apartments, Houses or Offices), or contact us by telephone. We may also receive personal data from our users through our partners who provide services to them on our behalf.

b- Data that Vitropor collects automatically based on users’ use of the platform:
Technical information, in particular the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the device the user is using to access the platform, the time zone, the operating system and the type and version of browser used.
Information about your visit, including the websites from which you access our website and the websites accessed from our platform, date and time of the visit, projects consulted, and services viewed, duration of the visit, response time of the pages of our website, interactions with the functionalities provided and other data relating to your interaction with the platform.
The use of the platform may be monitored in order to analyse and interpret, in an aggregate and anonymous way, the patterns of use of the website, thus allowing us to improve the levels of service and the satisfaction of our users’ expectations.
3- Purposes of personal data collected
Based on the information entered by users in Vitropor’s platform, the Data Controller will promote its processing in order to achieve the following objectives:
- Enabling users who visit Vitropor’s website to be contacted by Vitropor associates by completing the form on the products page, contacts page or others
- Answer users who have contacted Vitropor from its platform, so that we can clear up any doubts that may have been raised
With regard to the information automatically collected by the website, based on the browsing that our users have carried out, its processing will be promoted, in order to pursue the following purposes:
- Create anonymous, aggregated information about the characteristics and behaviour of website users, including for the purposes of segmentation and development of anonymous profiles (personas)

4- Your rights

If any of the information provided by Vitropor is incorrect or inaccurate, users may request its correction at the e-mail address geral@vitropor.pt
Users may also contact us to oppose the processing of their personal data, request that it be deleted, or that there be a limitation on the processing of their personal data, as well as request the right to the portability of personal data under the terms and within the limits established by the legislation in force. They shall also have the right to request notification to third parties of the rectification, erasure or limitation of the processing of their personal data.
In addition, users may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, which in Portugal is the National Commission for Data Protection.
We would also point out that part of the information entered into the platform may not be under the direct management of Vitropor, so in such cases we shall make every effort to ensure that the requests made by users from the platform are respected.
5- Information security and quality
Our objective is to guarantee the quality and integrity of the information provided by users who use the Vitropor website. To this end, the necessary technological and organisational measures have been implemented in order to keep the information safe, precise, up-to-date and complete.
To ensure maximum security, in the areas of the website where the personal data of users are collected, their transmission is encrypted.
6- With who we share your data?
Our users’ personal data will not be transferred to third parties, except:
- If Vitropor has its express authorisation
- To entities directly or indirectly related to the targeted business or potential business
- If required under the terms of the law
- If strictly necessary to ensure compliance with our terms of use, rights or ownership
Vitropor employees and its associates may have access to their personal data for platform management purposes. However, they are bound by an obligation of confidentiality regarding the data to which they have access in the context of the operations of the respective IT base.
Vitropor employees and its associates are duly informed of the importance of complying with this legal duty of secrecy, and are responsible for fulfilling this confidentiality obligation.
The website uses the Google Analytics for Display services, namely the remarketing function. This function consists of displaying ads to users who have already visited the platform.
You may opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertisers and not be exposed to ads from the Google Display Network. Vitropor may promote remarketing practices to advertise online, which means that users who do not opt-out of the Google Display Network by the aforementioned methods may be exposed to advertisements of Vitropor in Google’s content network. Third parties, such as Google or Facebook, may display Vitropor advertisements on websites of their content networks. Third entities, such as Google or Facebook, may also use Cookies (such as Google Analytics and DoubleClick Cookies), which are used to optimise advertisements based on information on users’ past visits to the website.
7- Where personal data is stored and for how long
The data that Vitropor collects from its Platform will be stored on servers located within the European Union.
The period of time for which data is stored varies according to the purpose for which the information is processed.
There are legal requirements, which oblige the data to be kept for a minimum period of time. Therefore, and whenever there is no specific legal requirement, the data will only be stored for the minimum period necessary for the purposes that motivated their collection or subsequent processing, or for the period of time authorised by the National Data Protection Commission, after which Vitropor will endeavour to delete the respective personal data from all the databases in which they appear.
8- Technical and organisational measures and security of processing
All the information that Vitropor receives from the users of its platform will be stored on secure servers and, in conjunction with our technological partners, we will promote the implementation of technical and organisational measures necessary for any personal data to be protected at an adequate level of security, which guarantees, in particular, the confidentiality and integrity of the data and prevents the destruction, loss, accidental or illicit alterations or, furthermore, the unauthorised disclosure of or access to them.
Notwithstanding the measures implemented to protect your data, each and every user should be aware that the transmission of information over the Internet, or other open networks, is never completely secure, with the risk of data being seen and used by unauthorised third parties. Vitropor is obliged to warn all those who surf the Internet that they must adopt additional security measures, namely to ensure that they use an updated device and browser in terms of properly configured security patches, with an active firewall, antivirus and antispyware, and to ensure the authenticity of the sites they visit on the Internet, avoiding websites whose reputation they do not trust.
